Bill is originally from Iowa. He and his wife moved to Sandpoint in the summer of 1977 after living for 4 years in Summit County in the Colorado Rockies. The Sandpoint area's abundant outdoor resources and mild four seasons are what originally lured them. Sandpoint’s people and their warm welcome are what hooked and landed Bill. It was a fabulous environment to raise their son. An avid fisherman, Bill has extensive knowledge of Lake Pend Oreille (pronounced "pond-er-ay.") He has been an active member and served as both Vice President and President (twice) of the Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club (LPOIC), a local non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement of the fisheries and health of Lake Pend Oreille. He also served 10 years on the Southside Water and Sewer Board. His twenty years’ experience in the marine business as sales manager of a local marina and owner of Pend Oreille Marine not only contribute to his familiarity with this region's most priceless gem, but has also provided the skills and contacts to make your move an enjoyable and calm passage. He is no stranger to the ski slopes, either. He has been a skier for over forty years. There is nothing quite like spending the winter months skiing Schweitzer Mountain or snowmobiling in the mountains and gazing down on the summer playground Lake Pend Oreille, and the rest of the year boating and fishing on the lake looking up at the awesome winter playground. Whether you're buying or selling a home, property, or a business in North Idaho, Bill’s contacts, persistence, people skills, attention to detail, and positive approach are what you need to have in your corner for a successful search, negotiation, closing, and move.
